Shooting in suburban Lake Worth kills one, injures another Sunday night

LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Gary Colt, 50, and Michael Parker, 56, were sitting in the carport of Colt's home in suburban Lake Worth at approximately Sunday night when a small gray vehicle pulled into the driveway of the home and a man began firing at them.

According to PBSO's Eric Davis, the gunman then got back into the vehicle and fled the scene.

Colt was taken to Delray Community Hospital where ER doctors pronounced him dead.

Parker was taken to JFK Medical Center and then transferred to Delray Community Hospital for his injuries.

Parker is listed in stable condition.

PBSO detectives are searching for at least one black male in a small gray/silver vehicle.
