A female giraffe was born at the Zoo Miamion Friday. It's the 50th giraffe born at the zoo.
The zoo says the calf weighed a healthy 138 pounds at birth and stood nearly 6 feet tall. Her mother is 5-year-old “Sabra” and this is her second calf. The first time father is “Titan,” who was born at Zoo Miami in June 2012.
The yet to be named giraffe is now on exhibit at the Zoo Miami.
