(WESH, NBC NEWSCHANNEL) One Florida woman was playing games on her phone while she was standing in her Lake Mary garage.

She looked up and was staring right into the eyes of a bear! It was so close she could feel the bear's breath.

"Never that close. No... frightening,” Teliece Sander said.

She sent a photo to her son Colton with a message-- "help me."

"And you thought?" he was asked. "I thought she was messing with me, I thought she got a new app or something," Colton said.

Then she followed up with "don't make a lot of noise." He knew it was real. "I was in shock, couldn't believe it," he said.

Once her 6' 6" 325 pound son walked up behind her--- the 300 pound bear sauntered away.

Only then did she move a muscle.

"I felt like if I did some kind of knee jerk, that that might scare him and I didn't know what his reaction would be," Teliece said.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission brought a trap in late in the afternoon-- driving by bear resistant cans--- standard garbage cans and trash set out in bags.

Since wildlife officials feel the bear has been fed, either on purpose or by accident, they hope to trap it and move it out for safety's sake.
