(NBC) - A shocking before and after visual in Mexico Beach, Florida, shows the devastation that Hurricane Michael has created.
A drone recorded the Canal Park community in pristine condition a week before Michael hit.

The storm made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane last Wednesday, leaving the area devastated.
The community is now unrecognizable with one beautiful home after another ruined.
Officials said the city recently saw about a 5 percent uptick in property value before the storm. That may change now as some homeowners get set for a long road to recovery.
