MAITLAND, Fla. - Surveillance video captured the moment a SunRail train collided with a car on Monday.
It happened as the train was approaching the Maitland, Fla., station in Central Florida.
The driver had just purchased a stick shift car and was trying to shift gears when she said the vehicle stalled on the tracks.
The train's engineer tried to stop but couldn't slow down fast enough before impact. The train was traveling at about 35 mph when it hit the vehicle.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries from flying debris. No one on the train was hurt.
Officials said they are looking into the possibility of adding four crossing arms to each intersection instead of two.
Investigators said the incident was the woman's fault, and she was issued a ticket.
