WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Drivers who use a SunPass will want to know about a new scam that could cost you big bucks!
A phony company is sending tickets to drivers claiming their SunPass didn't register when they went through the toll. The ticket is for $57 and claims to suspend your license if you don't pay up.
The Florida Department of Transportation says they are not affiliated with the company called Toll Enforcement LLC.
A real toll violation ticket will give the time, date and location of the infraction. It will also have a printed copy of your license plate on the front.
If you receive a bill from Toll Enforcement LLC, call the Florida Department of Transportation at 888- 865-5352.
