Pilot not hurt in plane crash near Pompano Beach

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- A pilot was not injured when authorities say his single-engine plane crashed into the ocean near Pompano Beach.
  
The pilot has not been identified. The Federal Aviation Administration says the pilot was alone on the Cessna 150 on Sunday when it went down about a mile and a half off Hillsboro Beach.
  
The flight departed from Pompano Beach, where it was also scheduled to land. It was unclear if the pilot was departing or arriving.
  
Also on Sunday, A single-engine airplane crashed in eastern Hillsborough County, killing two people. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says witnesses told deputies that the airplane nose-dived into a tree line and its engine was sputtering before the crash.
  
The victims names haven't yet been released.
