WEST PALM BEACH, FL -- A new poll shows that Charlie Crist has received the lowest voter acceptance marks of his entire tenure as Florida governor.

The poll, which was conducted Oct. 25-28 by Schroth, Eldon and Associates and the Polling Co., also suggests most voters would rather have Jeb Bush back as governor.

According to the Miami Herald, 71% of Republicans would pick Bush as governor today, while only22% of Republicans said they would pick Crist over Bush.

Democrats polled said they would pick Crist over Bush as governor, 58% to 24%. The poll also found that 44% of independents would pick Bush as governor today and 38% said Crist.
