WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Six people, including a bank teller, have been arrested in a federal investigation into identity theft rings in South Florida.

Federal authorities say the suspects stole identities, cashed forged checks and used stolen credit cards. They faces charges of bank fraud and identity theft.

The suspects, all from South Florida, made an initial court appearance in West Palm Beach on Thursday.

Four others, who haven't yet been arrested, also are charged in a federal indictment.

Authorities say one of the suspects worked as a bank teller, where she stole information from customer accounts. Court records did not list attorneys for three of the suspects. Two defense lawyers did not immediately return telephone messages on Friday.
