(CNN) - SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket launched successfully from Kennedy Space Center early Thursday morning.
The rocket launched at 2 a.m. to deliver a commercial communications satellite to orbit.
The company says the satellite deployed successfully approximately 34 minutes after launch.
The launch was rescheduled from early Tuesday morning when it had to be postponed due to high winds.
