A jaw-dropping crash at the Rolex 24 race at Daytona International Speedway sent two drivers to the hospital.
Memo Gidley and Matteo Malucelli were transported to the hospital after a crash less than three hours into the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway.
A jaw-dropping crash Saturday at the Rolex 24 race at Daytona International Speedway sent two drivers to the hospital.
Just over three hours into the race, Matteo Matucelli's car slowed in the infield portion of the track and then he was rear-ended at high speed by the car being driven by Memo Gidley.
Both drivers were taken to Halifax Health Medical Center. The race was red flagged and resumed after 1 hour and 25 minutes.
