STARKE, Fla. (AP) — A private plane has crashed at a National Guard training site in Florida, killing the pilot.

News outlets report that Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the four-seat, single-engine Mooney M20 aircraft went down Thursday, around 3:15 p.m. on the property of Camp Blanding. Bergen says the pilot was the only one aboard.

The cause of the crash hasn't been determined. The National Transportation Safety Board will determine probable cause, and the FAA will investigate the crash and identify the aircraft registration.
