A parachutist was safely rescued after getting stuck in power lines near the DeLand Municpal Airport on Monday morning.
The incident happened around 9 a.m. near the Florida Highway Patrol headquarters off U.S. 92
DeLand and Volusia fire crews were called to the scene.
Power was temporarily cut off in the area during the rescue.
The parachutist was not injured.
