There was a frightening accident as a storm slammed Panama City Beach Monday afternoon.
Witnesses say two teenage girls were rushed to the hospital after their parasail detached from the boat that was pulling it.
They landed in a nearby condominium parking lot.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the accident.
Officers have been working since the accident happened -- taking pictures, collecting evidence and talking to witnesses.
Witnesses say the girls hit a beach-view balcony on the 13th floor of the condo building.
We were yelling ‘please miss the building,' 'cause I knew if they slammed into it, at the speed they were going, it would probably be traumatic," said witness Doug Mador.
Witnesses say the parasail then ran into power lines, before landing among a group of cars in the parking lot, damaging one vehicle.
There's no word yet on the conditions of the teens.
