The U.S. Postal Service will stop delivering mail on Saturdays but continue to deliver packages six days a week under a plan aimed at saving about $2 billion, the financially struggling agency says.
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- A Hillsborough County mail carrier is accused of trying to sell nearly $20,000 of fraudulent tax refund checks.
Tampa Bay Times reports 40-year-old Orville Dwight Hylton faces a charge of theft of government property after trying to sell the checks at a discount price.
A federal complaint says the checks came from the same ZIP code where Hylton delivers mail.
