Miami-Dade Police on Friday said a mother likely shot and killed her children, an eight-year-old girl and a one-year-old boy, before turning the gun on herself in an apparent murder-suicide in Homestead.
Police said the father of the children came to his home located on Southwest 253rd Street and 132nd Avenue and called 911 after finding the bodies of the children and the 29-year-old mother.
