A plea deal has been offered to a St. Lucie County teacher accused of inappropriate contact with seven teenage girls.
Prosecutors offered Moa Academy teacher, Dan Hussan a plea deal that would sentence him to ten years in prison followed by ten years of probation.
He would also have to register as a sex offender for life.
Hussan was in court Thursday but did not make a decision about the deal.
The mother of one of his alleged victims hopes he will take it. "I’m supportive of the plea deal because I just want to put this behind us. I don't want to go back and forth to court I don't want to have to go through this anymore than I have to."
Hussan's attorney has not returned a request for comment.
His next court date is scheduled for July 9th.
