Masked-wearing man sought in violent Zephyrhills bank robbery

ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. - The FBI is currently seeking the public's help in locating a suspect wanted for an armed bank robbery in Zephyrhills in May.

According to investigators, an armed man entered the Chase Bank located at 7800 Gall Boulevard around 9:12 a.m. on May 19, hopped over the counter and ordered three employees at gunpoint to fill a bag with money.

During the incident he threatened other bank employees by pointing his handgun in their faces and fired a round into the ground when the other employees weren't filling the bag of money fast enough, the FBI says.

Witnesses say the man fled on foot before getting into a dark colored late model four-door Honda Civic driven by another man.
