Judge won't rule on defense motion to suppress Goodman's statements til March 24th hearing

Judge yet to decide on blood test results

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -  Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey Colbath stopped short of setting a new DUI manslaughter trial for Wellington polo mogul John Goodman at a hearing Friday.

Colbath and attorneys discussed pushing the retrial date back to July 15th, but no decision was made.

The case involves the death of 23-year-old Scott Patrick Wilson in February of 2010.

Colbath also considered defense motions to suppress Goodman's statements, and to dismiss the case over the release of his Bentley.
The judge has yet to rule on Goodman's statements but said he will not dismiss the case over the release of the vehicle.

Goodman was convicted in Wilson's death, and sentenced to 16 years in prison. But the conviction and sentence were overturned in 2013 because of juror misconduct.
