Hermane Thomany suspected in Anisha Williams death, Boynton Beach police say

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Police have identified the suspect in the shooting death of a 30-year-old woman early Wednesday at a house in Boynton Beach.

They identified him as 26 year old Hermane Thomany. He has numerous addresses in Palm Beach County and has ties to the Broward County area.

Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Thomany for second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Anisha Williams of Boynton Beach.

Police say Thomany was in a relationship with Williams, and detectives say there was an argument between them on Tuesday evening that led to the shooting.

Police were called to 125 Ocean Drive around 2:45 a.m. and found Williams on the floor inside the house. She was unconscious and bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. She was transported to Delray Medical Center where she died around 5 a.m. according to police.

"She was everything you could ask for in a single mom. How could you have a 14 year old and go to college and still have a job while paying rent and feeding your son. That is a lot," neighbor and friend Daniel Micheli said.

Anyone with information about Thomany is urged to call Boynton Beach Police at 561-732-8116 or Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 800-458-TIPS. You can remain anonymous. Tips can also be submitted via www.bbpd.org.
