A Florida woman who lived with a rare condition that left her sexually aroused to the point that she couldn't function normally committed suicide a day after a Tampa media outlet published a story about her, according to the New York Daily News .
Gretchen Molannen, 39, was found dead Saturday -- just as her story was published online on the Tampa Bay Times' website.
According to the New York Daily News , Molannen suffered from "persistent genital arousal disorder." The report states the disorder makes women feel sexually but not psychologically stimulated.
Doctors believe the cause of the condition could be a nerve dysfunction, according to the report.
