This could be a good time to head north and visit Florida's many amusement parks.

Analysts say the bad news cycle this summer, including the Pulse shootings and Zika, is keeping the big crowds away.

Parks such as Universal and Disney are now offering discounts to get people through the gates.

Walt Disney World announced a big discount of $79 for annual park hopper tickets this summer.

Also many hotels are offering 20 percent off for most of November and December.

At Universal, there is no more blackout dates this summer for Power Pass holders.

Plus, there’s a new Florida-resident deal being offered through mid-December -- $149 for three nights at a hotel and two days of park to park tickets.

At Busch Gardens and SeaWorld there’s free admission for first responders and discounts for their families through September.

At Legoland Florida, visitors can now book early online to save $15 on tickets.

Analysts say parks are hoping that the Halloween and holiday seasons to make up for lost revenue from this summer.
