ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A Central Florida man has been accused of kidnapping someone in downtown Orlando and them holding them captive for two days.

Media outlets report that 22-year-old Trevor Howell of Eatonville, Fla., is accused of forcing a person into the backseat of a car Monday afternoon at the Lynx bus station in downtown Orlando.

An arrest report says Howell took the victim, whose gender hasn't been specified, to a hotel on International Drive and held them captive there for two days against the victim's will. The victim was eventually able to escape and find help.

The report says that when Orange County deputies arrived at the hotel, Howell refused to identify himself. Deputies were able to identify him using a fingerprint reader.

Howell has been charged with kidnapping and sexual battery. It's unclear if he has an attorney.
