FORT MYERS, Fla. - A cashier at the La Mexicana store in Fort Myers says a customer slapped her for trying to get her attention.
The cashier says she was trying to get the attention of the woman's mother, so she raised her voice to let her know she was next to check out. That's when she says Lucero Sanchez-Corona slapped her in the face and said, "Do not yell at my mother."
Corona told police the cashier was being disrespectful. She said the two women begun swinging at each other until patrons stepped in to break it up.
Corona was arrested and charged with battery.
