(NBC NEWSCHANNEL) Two bystanders pulled an unconscious driver out of a burning car in South Florida on Monday.

Officials say 28-year-old Isaiah Hapersham and one other person smashed the windows and saved the driver.

The car burst into flames after the driver crashed into a light pole near the entrance ramp along Florida's Turnpike in Lauderhill.

Hapersham and the other bystander helped the man before rescue crews arrived.

The driver was taken to the hospital. The cause of the fire is unknown.
