Broward County kitten rescued after being trapped in car engine for 3 hours

WESTON, Fla. - A kitten is recovering after being rescued Monday from a car's engine compartment in Weston on Monday.
The driver said the kitten was stuck for three hours before she called Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue.
Firefighters tried to coax the kitten out for nearly 30 minutes before using a fire extinguish to move it to a location where firefighters could reach it.

The sheriff’s office said the water made the kitten move to the passenger’s side of the vehicle between the manifold and wheel well.

Driver/Engineer Albert Seidenstucker was then able to access the kitten and gently remove it.
