At least 2 dolphins stranded on Fort Myers Beach

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - At least two dolphins stranded themselves Thursday morning on Fort Myers Beach, according to WBBH.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission received a call at 6 a.m. of a report of one dead dolphin and another one that was stranded near a pier.

FWC and local police arrived at the scene and are looking for others that may be stranded.

A veterinarian and biologist are also headed to the area to assist.
