(CNN NEWSOURCE) According to 247wallstreet.com Miami, is the worst city to live in in the United States.
The financial news site stated several reasons Miami is number one.
It says more than one in every four people in Miami live in poverty and the city's violent crime rate is several times higher than the national rate.
And while the city's median home value is well above the national median its median household income is below the national median.
Rounding out the top five on the list: Detroit came in number two, followed by the much smaller city of Paterson, New Jersey in the third spot. Hawthorne, California landed at number four on the list and in at number five is Fall River, Massachusetts.
