MIAMI, Fla. - One adult French bulldog and a litter of puppies have been reunited with their owner after being stolen.
Miami Police say the dogs had been stolen on New Year's Eve or early New Year's Day.
According to NBC Miami, 29-year-old Vigil Phillip Birch confessed to buying the 16 dogs from a friend who took them from the home of breeder Marcelo Tuunrat.
The station reports that Birch saw news reports about the stolen puppies and dropped off the puppies at a location where they were recovered.
Birch has been arrested and charged with 16 counts of grand theft and 16 counts of dealing in stolen property, according to NBC Miami.
