There was a deadly industrial accident Monday in Hollywood.
Scaffolding collapsed along the side of the Hyde Resort and Residences under construction on Hollywood Beach, according to the city.
A spokesperson said 4 people were on the scaffolding at the time and two fell to the ground. One of the people who fell died and the other is listed in critical condition.
The other two were suspended by their safety equipment and rescued.
They were treated for minor injuries.
Hollywood police and fire are investigating and so is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
