Solar storm, M1.4 solar flare, could hit Earth today; NASA video shows M-class flares

A huge pack of sunspots may send solar flares streaming toward Earth Wednesday.

Those flares are not expected to cause any major damage, but could have an impact on gadgets like your cell phone.

Solar flares have the capability of affecting power grids and satellites.
