WESTERN PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - A worker was critically injured when his bulldozer went into a canal at a construction site near the Old Talisman Sugar Mill near South Bay.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews responded out to the 13800 block of US Highway 27 for a construction accident at 8:23 a.m. Saturday and found a bulldozer in a canal with bystanders who had gone into the canal to rescue the driver.
The worker was transported to Lakeside Medical Center in critical condition.
A small amount of fuel and oil spilled into the water was contained.
