Car overturns in Holey Land Wildlife Management area near South Bay, one person injured

SOUTH BAY, Fla. - A person received minor injuries after a car accident in the Holey Land Wildlife Management area near South Bay, said Captain Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Rescue crews responded around 7:13 p.m. to reports of a car in a canal in the 22,600 block of U.S. 27. Upon arrival they found a vehicle had rolled over but did not go into the water and all occupants out of the vehicle, Borroto said.

One person sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization, Borroto said.

There are no other details immediately available.
