Pahokee crash leaves one car on top of another

PAHOKEE, Fla. - Two people were seriously injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in the 6100 block of State Road 15 in Pahokee that landed one vehicle on top of another, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Emergency crews responded a few minutes after 3:30 p.m. to reports of a vehicle on a guardrail.  They found one vehicle resting on top of another and several occupants trapped inside one of the vehicles, said Captain Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate the occupants from the vehicle. They were flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center by Trauma Hawk. There is no word on their condition.
