Joseph Walker charged with a fatal stabbing in Pahokee

PAHOKEE, Fla. - Joseph Walker has been arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and charged with the stabbing death of Tyrone Richardson.

Deputies say that on Sunday night Walker's mother kicked him out of her house and he had no place to stay.

Walker, according to investigators, went to the apartment of Tyrone Richardson to have a place to sleep.

Deputies say that during the course of the evening Richardson got into an altercation with Walker who was dating a family member.

Richardson, according to PBSO, was concerned about the relative and did not want Walker to see the relative anymore.

Walker, according to deputies, fatally stabbed Richardson in his apartment in the 1700 block of E Main Street Pahokee.

The stabbing, according to deputies, occurred around 2 a-m Monday morning.

PBSO says that Walker had an outstanding warrant for felony violation of probation and was spotted Monday morning and taken into custody.

Deputies say that when Walker was taken into custody he had a gun with him that had blood on it.

Walker initially denied involvement in Richardson's death and then later told investigators that he stabbed the victim during an argument.

Walker was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on murder charges as well as violation of probation and possession of a weapon by a felon.
