Jammy Washington: Pahokee man indicted in murders of Deborah Jessie and Crystal Anderson

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla.-- A Palm Beach County man has been indicted on two cases of first-degree murder.

Jammy Washington faces charges in connection with the deaths of Deborah Jessie and  Crystal Anderson. Washington was Jessie's ex-boyfriend.

Anderson was Jessie's close friend and babysitter.

In court Friday, deputies said Washington was refusing to  to appear for the hearing.

Washington is being charged despite the fact that Jessie is still missing. She hasn't been seen since late June. But all along her Pahokee family suspected Washington.

Deputies have been holding him on charges connected to a previous domestic incident between the former couple.

Jessie's family said they were hoping Washington would confess while he was in custody, and pleaded with him to come clean.

Jessie had also filed a restraining order against him. At the time, deputies said they were also trying to figure out whether Jessie's disappearance was related to the death of 57-year-old Crystal Anderson, who was found dead in her Pahokee home.
