Pahokee man injured in drive-by shooting

PAHOKEE, Fla. - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance to piece together the clues to a shooting.

On Saturday at about 7:35 p.m., deputies say a man in his 20s was standing near Amaryllis and McClure in Pahokee when he was hit by gunfire. 

Investigators say a person or persons riding in a car fired at the man, who was hit in his torso and back. 

The man was airlifted to St. Mary's Medical Center for treatment. 

Detectives are now asking that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.  Callers are able to remain anonymous.
