Power reported out, line down in Belle Glade

BELLE GLADE, Fla.-- A tornado warning was issued for western Palm Beach County around 3 a.m. Thursday morning.

So far there hasn't been confirmation if a tornado did touch down.

The storm that traveled through the area caused transformers to blow and a power line to come down along Martin Luther King Blvd.

Crews from Florida Power and Light worked quickly to get the power back on.

Those responding to the down power line say they're not sure if a tornado did touch down, but that wind gusts were very strong at that hour of the morning, causing their cars to sway.
