Man shot in Belle Glade, flown to hospital

Three people arrested

BELLE GLADE, Fla. - Deputies are investigating a shooting Thursday evening in Belle Glade that sent one person to the hospital.

Rescue crews responded around 7 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of South Main Street. Upon arrival they found one young man had been shot in the hip. He was flown to Delray Medical Center by Trauma Hawk, said Teri Barbera, spokeswoman for Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

He is expected to make a full recovery, Barbera said.

She added that the shooting was the result of an ongoing feud among the parties.

Three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting, Barbera said.
