A 24-year-old man from West Palm Beach was killed in a crash on Interstate 95 southbound early Sunday morning in St. Lucie County.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Jose Luis Gonzalez was driving a 2010 Acura TSX southbound on I-95 in the outside lane at 5:25 a.m.
For an undetermined reason, Gonzalez traveled off the outside paved shoulder and onto the grass, striking two trees.
Gonzalez was taken to Traditions Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
