Sheriff looking into stores that violate state laws by selling to customers under age 21

St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara is voicing his concern about the recent uptick in stores caught selling alcohol to minors.

Sheriff Mascara says last weekend's two-day undercover operation showed a disturbing increase in stores willing to sell those under 21.

The summer operation found a distressing 60 percent of stores sold alcohol to minors. The sheriff says he plans to enlist the help of of state ATF agents to crackdown on violators.
