St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office no longer searching for missing endangered 85-year-old man

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - UPDATE: Lee Roy Champagne found unharmed in Camden County, Ga., according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara

The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing endangered 85-year-old Port. St. Lucie man.

Authorities say Lee Roy Champagne has been missing since late Tuesday morning.

"Mr. Champagne suffers from dementia and needs his medications," Sheriff Mascara said. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1 in St. Lucie County."

Lee Roy Champagne, of 8188 Black Bead Court, Port St. Lucie, is 5'5" tall and weighs 130 pounds. He has gray hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, black jeans and black shoes with pink shoe laces.

He was last seen leaving home this morning at 11:30 a.m. driving a 1998 4-door white Toyota Corolla with Florida license tag M875YC.
