Silver alert issued for Bernadette Fedoriuk, missing Port St. Lucie resident found safe in Tampa

UPDATE: Bernadette Fedoriuk found safe in Tampa area.

St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office has issued a silver alert, searching for a missing elderly woman.

Bernadette Fedoriuk is a white female, five-feet-two-inches tall, weighing 105 pounds.

She suffers from dementia and has been missing from the Savannah Club community in Port St. Lucie since this morning.

Fedoriuk was last spoken to on the telephone shortly after midnight.

During the phone call she told her granddaughter that she was in the area of Gatlin Blvd. and I-95, but was lost and could not remember how to get home.

A check of her credit card activity showed a transaction around 6:30am this morning at a service station in Indiantown.

She is driving a red 2010 Ford Taurus with Florida tag ZOEAT.
