Port St. Lucie Walmart shopper exposes self to elderly woman, say police

Port St. Lucie police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they said exposed himself to an elderly woman who was shopping at a Wal-Mart.

The incident occurred at the store located on South US Highway 1 in Port St. Lucie on Aug. 28 at about 10:20 a.m.

The victim told police that the suspect lured the victim to a location in the toy department by asking her a question about the price of a toy.

The woman said that when she walked over to the man, she saw that he had hiked up his shorts and his genitals were exposed.

Walmart security was able to track the man's movement through the store and captured a clear image of the man as he left.

The man is described as a tall, thin, white male with shoulder length brown hair.

The suspect also had facial hair and was wearing a gray long sleeve t-shirt and dark colored nylon gym shorts.

Police said on Sept. 4 between 10 to 11 a.m., just one week after the first incident, Port St. Lucie Police received another report of the same man being at the Walmart located at 1675 NW St. Lucie West Boulevard.

Store security was able to locate and capture the man on camera confirming that he was at the St. Lucie West Walmart.  The man's activities during his visit to this Wal-Mart are currently being investigated.

If anyone has any information they should call Detective Kristin Meyer at (772) 807-4400 kristin.meyer@cityofpsl.com or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273 TIPS.
