PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - On Saturday, August 3rd, Port St. Lucie Police arrested three people for shoplifting at a liquor store and supermarket in Port. St. Lucie, according to authorities.
Police say Jeffrey Radomski, 16 , and an unidentified teen shoplifted from Third Base Liquor Store and Bravo Supermarket, both located in the 2800 block of SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard.
A store employee attempted to stop the teen as she left Bravo Supermarket without paying for the merchandise she selected, according to Port St. Lucie Police.
She fought with the employee and then called for Radomski to help her get away, according to an arrest report. According to the report, Radomski pushed the store employee and then he, 19-year-old Nicholas Mashaw and the unidentified teen all fled from the store, according to Port St. Lucie Police.
According to police, two men attempted to stop the three teens. Radomski punched one of the men several times, police say.
The second person who tried to stop the trio came to the aid of the injured man and was also punched and they ended up on the ground, according to police.
Police say when they arrived all three of the suspects had run away. Police eventually caught Radomski. They say say he resisted officers during the arrest and bit the arresting officer on his forearm.
The teen and Mashaw were located in a nearby wooded lot by three residents.
Police transported Mashaw to the St. Lucie County Jail. Radomski and the 17-year-old female were transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
Mashaw,19, faces 2 counts of petit theft and battery. Jeffrey Radomski ,17, faces 2 counts of petit theft, battery, battery on a law enforcement officer and obstruction of justice with violence. The 17-year old female faces 2 counts of petit theft and battery.
