James Sherman Beasley III: Missing endangered adult in Port St. Lucie found

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - UPDATE: James Sherman Beasley III has been found in good health, according to Port St. Lucie police. 


Port St. Lucie police are seeking the public's help in finding a missing endangered adult.

On Monday, September 16,  police responded to a call regarding a missing adult at Morningside Assisted Living Facility at 2233 SE Morningside Boulevard in Port St. Lucie.

Maria Chambers, the owner of the assisted living facility, told police James Sherman Beasley III, 58 was last seen at approximately 10:15 a.m. at 1802 SE Airoso Boulevard.

Beasley normally travels with Chambers to Morningside Assisted Living Facility in the mornings, according to police. 

Beasley left the facility on a black electric scooter. He is currently not in possession of his medication, which he is required to take twice daily, according to authorities.

Police said he frequents CVS Pharmacy located at Lyngate and U.S 1, and Wells Fargo Bank located at Walton Road and U.S.1.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and brown rubber boots.
