PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The Red Cross is assisting four people, including two children ages 10 and 11, who were left temporarily homeless after fire damaged their home in the 1100 block of Erving Street in Port St. Lucie.
Fire crews responded around 5 p.m. to reports of a fire at 1144 Erving Street. Upon arrival they found the residents out of the house and the dwelling "heavily involved in fire," said District Chief Jim Hall.
No one was injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
