Seddiq Mateen has not been seen for about a week. He is the father of Omar Mateen who gunned down 49 people and injured another 53 at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando three months ago.

Seddiq has not been seen for a week.

What remains are three American flags along his front lawn.

His next door neighbor, Anthony Schneider said Seddiq has not been the same since the Orlando massacre.

Schneider said that Mateen talks with him about intimate things. He told us he believes Mateen loves America and is very upset by his son’s actions.

“He's still very affected by it,” said Schneider. “I’ve known him about six years now. He's always upbeat, smiling, nice guy, give the shirt off his back and it looks like he lost a lot of that, the happy feeling all the time.”

No one was seen coming and going from Mateen’s home Monday.

The woman who was married to Mateen’s son has not been seen for months either.

The FBI was asked if charges are still pending against her. A spokesman declined to comment.
