PORT ST LUCIE, Fla. - Daniel Reeves has been arrested and charged with stalking a 14-year-old girl.
Port St Lucie police say that the victim told them that during the past month an unknown person has been stalking her as she walked to and from her school.
The arrest report issued for Reeves says that in April, 2013 the victim told police that as she was walking to school, a man started following her. He reportedly told the victim that she's "rocking those pants".
Reeves, according to police, also tried to make conversation with the victim while she walked near SW Cashmere Boulevard and SW Crosstown Parkway.
Police were told by the victim's mother that she was extremely concerned with the person suspected of following her daughter.
Port St. Lucie School Resource Officers, road patrol officers, school crossing guards, and the victim all worked together to identify the male suspect who was stalking the victim, according to the arrest report.
Port St. Lucie police arrested Daniel A. Reeves and charged him with aggravated stalking of a minor under 16 years of age. Reeves was taken to the St. Lucie County Jail.
