Cumberland Farms store robbed in Port St. Lucie

Port St. Lucie police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at around 4:20 A.M. Monday at the Cumberland Farms located at 1498 SE Lennard Road.

Police say two men entered the store and robbed the clerk. After the robbery the pair left with an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.

While tracking the duo, police recovered loose cash and clothing near the Tiffany Club Apartments. The clothing is believed to have been worn by the men.

Both are described as black males in their late teens to early 20s. One is around 5’6” – 5’10” tall, wore gloves, a dark hoodie, dark pants, and was armed with a black semi-auto handgun.  The other is described as around 5’7” – 5’11” tall, and wore a gray hoodie with dark horizontal stripes, and tan shorts. He was carrying a black backpack. Both had their faces partially covered with some type of dark cloth.
